| MANICURING
- CIP 12-0410 The Manicuring Course is a specialized training program completed in 400 clock hours. The nail care industry is one of the fastest growing and most creative, rewarding and high-paying professions in the cosmetology industry today. The manicuring student will learn the latest technology in application of artificial nail enhancements and nail art; the care of the hands and feet, including accupressure and massage used during manicuring and pedicuring. In this $6 Billion Dollar a year industry, the student must have a basic understanding of business and marketing information in order to enter the industry ready to complete. Full time and part time scheduling is available and is arranged upon enrollment in the program. The student is able to complete the program in 3 to 6 months. The Department of Education requires all schools to give certain consumer information to all students and prospective students. The Licensing Exam is administered by PSI Testing Services; the Exam Fee is $ 144.00.
